Olek's Crocheted Grapefruit
After her wildly successful show at Christopher Henry Gallery, Olek is taking her work to the streets for some interactive performances. I'm so excited for her newest project, Crocheted Grapefruit, for which she is unleashing a team of peaceful, crochet-suited performers onto NYC to engage members of the public in some participatory works. This three-day action is inspired by one of Yoko Ono's "Instructions" in her iconic 1964 book Grapefruit, and will turn passers by into enthusiastic, if unlikely, collaborators. Be sure to check it out!
