Lyons Wier Gallery is pleased to announce the first of our two summer exhibitions, "24/7." "24/7" features work by gallery artists and artists we respect in the community. Exhibiting artists include: Amanda Besl, Ryan Bradley, Greg Haberny, Mary Henderson, Jan Huling, Nathan James, Mark Kostabi, Patte Loper, David Lyle, Shane McAdams, Jazz-minh Moore, Tim Okamura, Fahamu Pecou, Melodie Provenzano, James Rieck, David Rosado, Matt Straub, Vadis Turner, Martin Wittfooth and Jason Yarmosky. "24/7" will be held in two locations: at our main gallery located at 542 West 24th Street and our Project Space at 175 Seventh Ave., hence the show's title: "24/7." Each artist will have pieces on display at both locations. The common thread between the artists in the show is the Gallery's mission of championing contemporary artists who bring fresh interpretative visions to their genre. Lyons Wier Gallery focuses on representational artists whose insight to form and color is buttressed by the iconography and conceptual context of the work. It is our goal to continue the stewardship of national and international artists and to serve as an important exhibition venue for the development of their vision and careers.
