Discover Emerging Artist Megan Greene
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Megan Greene lives and works in Chicago, IL. She graduated with honors from the University of Notre Dame in 1998, receiving the Emil Jacques Gold Medal of Fine Art and the Mabel Mountain Award for Achievement in Painting. She earned an MFA degree from Rutgers University in 2002, and was awarded the Dean Bettenbender Memorial Performance Award. Ms. Greene also received a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship to study in New Zealand. Her recent exhibitions include Hallwalls Contemporary Art Center in Buffalo, Katharine Mulherin Contemporary Art Projects in Toronto, the Institute of Contemporary Art in Maine and the Carrie Secrist Gallery in Chicago. Her work is held in permanent collections at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery and the Burchfield Penney Art Center.
